When I was a kid, the local bookstore had a selection of paperback books which depicted women in leotards fighting or in gun battles. I supppose they were spy thriller books. The covers were vivid and hazy at the same time. Lots of dark subdued colors. This drawing is simply representative of my recollections...

Once again, my account has been saved by another generous person who gave me a few more months to stay inspired here at DA. My thanks go out to them in a big way. It means so very, very much to me that someone sees my work as worth while enough to so giving. Thanks again.

In other news, my hands have healed well and I can draw fairly well for a while before they get sore. I can still get some drawing done on a limited basis so please bear with me. Thanks to everyone who likes my stuff and thanks to the extra generous person who extended my account.

Sending healing wishes. And giving you a hand (sorry...) for not letting the injury get you down. Good to confront misfortune mano-a-mano (oops, sorry again), give bad news the finger (damn!) and triumph. Maybe in the meantime you can palm off (oh, no!) some of your other work onto friends and neighbors....

Anyway, back here for a visit, first in a while, really. And so there were a huge number of images you've posted that I hadn't seen. All variations on that favorite theme of yours (and mine, and others), and I really enjoyed being here. I was particularly keen on the "Dorm Intruders" series (perhaps because I'm a fan of mother/daughter scenarios), and I hope that at some point you might consider returning to it.
